Children and Youth

Children and Youth process the world differently from adults. They communicate differently and ask us to listen differently.

When working with children and youth, I adapt the therapy process to be appropriate for their developmental stage and current needs. We may use tools such as art, play or experiential therapy to allow your child to express themselves in a safe space.

Youth are sandwiched between childhood and adulthood. Trying to figure out who they are, what they values, and who they can trust can be incredibly challenging.  When working with youth we often explore current life stressors, coping strategies, values, and identity.

Let us work to understand your child, their needs, and their current struggles.
