Anxiety can be debilitating and takes many forms. You are not doing anything wrong and you do not need to ‘calm down!’ Anxiety is real and is often our system’s way of trying to alert us to danger, even if we are safe.

It can make someone’s life complicated as they evaluate and budget how much energy out and how much recovery time an activity requires. We can help you find ways to manage your pain and resource your energy. As your mental health improves, so too often can your response to your chronic pain.
